Russian Railways has launched an option that allows passengers to buy tickets with a transfer to different seats on the same train. This was reported by the company's press service.
If tickets for the entire route are not available, passengers will be able to choose available seats for different sections of the journey within the same train.
When booking, the passenger will receive several tickets — one for each seat. You will also need to register again with the conductors. The train's stop at the station must be at least five minutes to allow the passenger to change seats.
Currently, the service with the option to purchase a composite route is only available on southern routes. For now, it works on the Moscow – Kislovodsk, Moscow – Adler, Moscow – Anapa, and Moscow – Novorossiysk routes.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russians will be able to specify the nickname and type of pet when booking a train ticket.
