According to the Ministry of Defense, preventive measures at the command and measurement complex of the Main Test Space Center named after G.S. Titov in Vorkuta were successful.
To maintain the required level of combat readiness, the military personnel conducted control measurements of the system's parameters during its configuration, testing, activation, and monitoring.
Performing maintenance on the ground control complex ensures the uninterrupted operation of command and measurement systems and other assets involved in controlling spacecraft in orbital flight, maintains the Space Forces' weapons, military, and special equipment (WMSE) in good working order when used as intended, and prevents abnormal and emergency situations.
KIS "Kalina" directly manages low-orbit small spacecraft of various purposes in the VHF band. It is a stationary equipment complex.
As of 2020, the G.S. Titov Main Test and Space Center, which includes KIS "Kalina", controlled more than 160 spacecraft of various purposes.
