The Lipetsk Mechanical Plant (LMZ LLC, part of the Kalashnikov concern) has announced that it will increase the production of armored hulls for anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) several times over in the next two years. The plant started producing these nine-ton products in the spring.
Increasing the pace of production of armored hulls is one of the important strategic stages in the development of the enterprise, and in the future, LMZ will become a supporting enterprise of the SAM repair cluster. The high demand for the product requires us to redistribute resources and increase capacity for quick and high-quality execution of the order.
The company has already launched a program to modernize production and optimize the process of recruiting and training personnel. The first stage of the program was corporate standards for a number of in-demand professions. This will reduce staff turnover, as well as increase efficiency and productivity.
