Russian military personnel at the forefront have begun using advanced counter-FPV drone systems "Groza.04.K". The novelty was developed by the concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" (KRET, part of Rostec).
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev noted that the complex has an aperture of at least two emitting antenna modules of VHF/UHF wavebands with corresponding frequency generators with a power of up to 200 - 350 W and frequency modulators controlled by controllers that receive primary information from directional frequency finders of the correlation-interferometric type.
They determine the amplitude-frequency parameters of the transmitting channels of command and telemetry control modules of UAVs, as well as the transmission of video images to combat control points. In fact, we are talking about one of the analogues of the "Sania" electronic warfare system with the possibility of amplifying the energy parameters of radiation, which contribute to an increase in the effective suppression radius.
In addition, if the carrier frequency is changed, which is detected by the frequency analyzer, the modulator can automatically retune the frequency of the emitted interference signal.
Earlier www1.ru reported on the capabilities of the Russian Viking anti-aircraft missile system. The complex has the possibility of autonomous use of self-propelled fire installations, including radar illumination and guidance with launchers.
