AvtoVAZ has started equipping the LADA Niva Travel with a new steering wheel. Insiders have published a photograph of this part.
The steering wheel has three spokes. It does not have an airbag. There is no inscription indicating its presence. Apparently, the SUV will be equipped with different types of steering wheels depending on the configuration: cars with airbags will be equipped with a steering wheel from LADA Granta, and cars without airbags will be fitted with a three-spoke part.
Note that AvtoVAZ has resumed production of LADA Niva Travel with two airbags. It is not yet known when such cars will go on sale.
