The Russian newest interceptor drone "Vogan-9SP" will become a useful addition to the protection system against unmanned aerial vehicles. This is stated in the material of the American publication The War Zone (TWZ).
Journalists noted that "Vogan" works in conjunction with a laser system that illuminates the target, and when approaching the enemy's drone, the drone already uses automatic systems.
The use of laser targeting for guidance is an "interesting hybrid concept." This has not been used before in this area.
The authors of the publication added that after being put into production, "Vogan-9SP" will become a very useful addition to the Russian protection system against enemy drones.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces turned the RBU-6000 naval rocket launcher into a ground weapon. The ground installation uses recycled 212-mm RGB-60 rockets for firing.
