The Russian crew of a T-80 tank on the front lines has installed additional protection against drones and mines on the combat vehicle. This makes the tank more protected.
The T-80 received lattice screens on the stern and a large canopy to protect the upper hemisphere from drones.
Other methods of homemade modernization of combat vehicles are also being carried out. In some cases, this allows withstanding several strikes from enemy FPV drones.
