Various versions of the infantry fighting vehicle (BMP), airborne fighting vehicle (BMD), and armored personnel carrier (BTR) have begun to be standardly equipped with "Nakidka" signature reduction kits. The "camouflage cloak" made of radio-absorbing material protects armored vehicles in the face of the threat of "Baba Yaga" drone attacks. This was reported in the press service of the "High-Precision Systems" holding.
The holding said that it was the military personnel who pointed out the importance of using a camouflage complex based on a synthetic thermal insulation material that reduces the thermal radiation of equipment. Thus, "Nakidka" makes the combat vehicle less visible in the radar and infrared ranges.
This is especially true at night, when heavy drones, nicknamed "Baba Yaga" in the troops, go hunting, and thermal imagers help them see in the dark.
