The "Shvabe" holding (part of the "Rostec" state corporation) presented a missile detection station, part of an airborne defense system, at the HeliRussia 2024 International Helicopter Industry Exhibition in Moscow.
The company presented two optoelectronic units from the airborne defense system, including a missile attack warning station.
In addition, "Shvabe" demonstrated a guidance system unit that provides tracking and guidance of a laser beam onto an attacking missile to create interference and deflect it from its target.
Pilots, dispatchers, engineers, and other specialists have long been familiar with our optoelectronic devices and use them successfully. Participation in the exhibition allows us to exchange experiences with domestic and foreign manufacturers, as well as establish business contacts.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian helicopters received a completely new defense system. It allows to repel missiles with combined guidance systems.
