Sberbank's neural network GigaChat will begin training at the First St. Petersburg State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlov (SPbGMU). A cooperation agreement has already been signed. This was reported by the bank's press service.
Under the terms of the agreement, GigaChat will gain knowledge in various medical specialties.
This will make the model more effective in solving problems related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, as well as in the development of new drugs and medical technologies.
According to the Rector of SPbGMU, students and specialists of the university will also study the possibilities of using the neural network for medical and educational purposes. He emphasized that the main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of people by creating a modern healthcare system.
It is worth noting that GigaChat is not undergoing training for the first time. In February of this year, the neural network passed the exam in the field of study "General Medicine" for 6th-year medical students.
