The "Tinkoff" Group will operate under the new name "T-Bank" from June 5. These steps will popularize the bank's activities and attract new customers in the global market, the financial organization's press service said.
Instead of a coat of arms-style logo, a new design has been approved - a yellow shield with a minimalist letter "T". The usual font and corporate colors have been left unchanged.
Today we are taking another step in development: the Tinkoff brand is evolving into the T-Bank brand. The letter "T" is becoming a recognizable visual element of our products and services: you see "T with a shield" and immediately understand that this is about us and our ecosystem.
The bank's website address has been changed to tbank.ru. All main services operate under new names from June 5 this year: T-Bank, T-Investments, T-Mobile, and so on.
The press service clarified that the brand modernization will take place gradually. Following the change of the bank's name, it is planned to update all legal names, card designs and ATMs.
Our legal entity is still called JSC "Tinkoff Bank", and for some time you will find it in official documents. But gradually it will also be called in a new way.
Additionally, it was noted that nothing will change for customers. Credit and debit cards, insurance policies and other services will operate until the end of the specified period under the old names, there is no need to change anything specifically on your own. The bank's press service also noted that the old name of JSC will remain in bank statements for the time being.
If you request an account statement or, for example, a certificate for a visa, it will say JSC "Tinkoff Bank". This is normal: while we are only changing the name of the bank, all documents are still legally valid.
All information for customers is still available in the bank's applications. You do not need to delete and reinstall them.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Tinkoff announced the launch of a new electric scooter rental service.
