High-speed internet to be available in all villages of the LPR with a population of 100 or more

Ministry of Digital Development: 469 base stations launched in the republic in 2024

High-speed internet will be brought to settlements in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) with a population of 100 or more by 2025. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of the LPR.

Currently, there are three mobile operators in the LPR: "Miranda-media", "MKS", and "K-telecom".

Thus, the target indicator for mobile internet is a speed of at least 10 Mbps

The department reported that operators are now focused on improving the quality of communication in rural areas.

In 2024-2025, it is planned to cover settlements with a population of 100 or more with a cellular signal providing high-speed access to the Internet.

In 2024, 469 mobile base stations were launched in the LPR, and another 660 stations will be launched by the end of the year. Last year, 1,959 base stations were put into operation.
