Yandex has launched YandexGPT 3 Lite. The lightweight version of the third-generation neural network is already available to users of the Yandex Cloud cloud platform via API (Application Programming Interface). It can be used for verification in chatbots, for spell checking or data analysis, the company's press service reported.
The new version of the neural network surpasses YandexGPT 2 Lite (second generation). According to the results of testing YaMMLU_ru (the Russian-language version of the international benchmark test MMLU), YandexGPT 3 Lite gives 6% more correct answers.
The two neural networks were also compared using the Side by Side method. It turned out that YandexGPT 3 Lite responded better than YandexGPT 2 Lite in 68% of cases.
In addition, YandexGPT 3 Lite makes fewer spelling errors.
The neural network was developed to optimize communication processes in a business environment (telephone responses, chatbot consultations, creation of marketing materials). Experts assessed how well YandexGPT 3 Lite copes with various business tasks.
A demo version of YandexGPT 3 Lite can be tried for free on the Yandex Cloud platform. The cost of using the working version of YandexGPT 3 Lite is 20 kopecks per thousand tokens.
Integration of the neural network into selected products is carried out through the Foundation Models service. YandexGPT 3 Lite is available on all company services.
