Cognitive Pilot Developed the World's First Fully Autonomous Robot Tractor in Tomsk

The machine is controlled by artificial intelligence

Cognitive Pilot presented an industrial prototype of the world's first fully autonomous robotic tractor at the Golden Niva-2024 exhibition, which takes place from May 28 to 31 in Ust-Labinsk. The cabless tractor model is controlled by artificial intelligence (AI). This was reported by the company's press service.

The device was designed and assembled at the Cognitive Pilot factory in Tomsk. The tractor has a wide range of functions for use in agricultural activities.

Unmanned vehicles are capable of performing all basic agricultural operations with almost any mounted implements. The quality of their execution is like that of a CNC machine, completely independent of the human factor.
Anton Emelyanov, Managing Partner of CognitivePilot

The model is equipped with special sensors that monitor the quality of work and the condition of the agricultural machine. The unmanned tractor is also equipped with a special installation for monitoring soil composition.

In June, the smart technology will be tested on a farm in the Voronezh region. Mass production of unmanned tractors with integrated AI is scheduled to begin in 2025.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that unmanned tractors with the Cognitive Pilot system have learned to work without GPS.
