Manturov spoke about the condition of Boeing and Airbus aircraft that were left without foreign spare parts

The Russian government stated that foreign aircraft meet the requirements of aviation authorities

Foreign passenger aircraft Boeing and Airbus, which are in the fleet of Russian air carriers, fully comply with the requirements of Rosaviatsia. This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov.

Manturov emphasized that specialists continue to maintain the vessels.

The aircraft meet all the requirements that are imposed by the Russian aviation authorities, therefore, everything is being done regarding the repair and timely replacement of spare parts.

In 2022, the West imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation, prohibiting airlines from receiving parts and components for Airbus and Boeing. In the spring of the same year, Russia adopted a law allowing carriers to register rights to leased aircraft. This allowed them to use aircraft within the country and when flying abroad.
