Passengers of the capital's transport were offered to pay for travel using a virtual version of the "Troika" card. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin at the opening ceremony of the Center for the Development of Electric Transport and Unmanned Technologies in the west of Moscow.
According to Sobyanin, from May 23 of this year, payment for travel became available online. To do this, you need to replenish the virtual "Troika" card.
Testing of the new payment method has already been launched at the turnstiles of the metro and the MCC (Moscow Central Circle), more than 800 successful card activations have been carried out.
Now passengers can pay for travel using a smartphone — there is no need to attach a plastic carrier to the terminal.
To create a digital "Troika" card, just go to the "Moscow Metro" application. Payment for travel using a smartphone is available in any public transport in the capital.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Center for the Development of Electric Transport and Unmanned Technologies started working in Moscow.
