The SmartAirkey system will improve the comfort of the urban environment

The company «RT-Project Technologies» (part of Rostec) presented the unified urban access system SmartAirkey at the conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR-2024). The IT solution will help people with disabilities (PWD) use home infrastructure — elevators, ramps, entrance doors, the corporation's press service reported.

The automated SmartAirkey system opens any electromechanical and electromagnetic locks with a digital cryptographic key directly from a mobile application. The system is focused on people with disabilities, emergency workers, and couriers.

It will be more convenient for a person confined to a wheelchair to enter the entrance, as the program will automatically open the doors to the entrance and lower the ramp.
Alexander Nazarov, Deputy Head of Rostec

SmartAirkey can also call an elevator, activate a wheelchair lift, open or close an apartment door. Information about the use of digital keys will be monitored through a centralized management system.

Large enterprises have already begun installing SmartAirkey software in elevators of their own production. In the future, the system is planned to be installed when houses are put into operation and integrated into the infrastructure of ready-made residential complexes.

Earlier www1.ru reported that two new technology parks will appear in Moscow.
