It is planned to put 94,000 robots into operation in Russian factories by 2030, according to Alexander Lvov, Deputy Director of the Department of Machine Tool Building and Heavy Engineering at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Robotization has already begun at Russian enterprises. In 2023, 11,000 robots were introduced, and by the end of 2024, their number should increase to 14,400. To speed up the process, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared support measures:
- in 2023, a program was launched to obtain preferential bank guarantees;
- from 2024, manufacturers can expect to receive a subsidy to compensate for part of the costs of repaying interest on loans;
- in the future, it is planned to reduce insurance premiums by 7.6%, as well as introduce zero tax rates on profits.
Since January 2024, Russia has introduced subsidies of 50% of the cost of a purchased robot of domestic production. Despite these measures, market experts doubt that it will be possible to introduce 100,000 robots into the industry by 2030. Even with an annual market growth of 20%, the number of robots will reach only 41,000 in 6 years.
Earlier www1.ru reported that PJSC "KAMAZ" will purchase 60 industrial robots from the company "Eidos Robotics."
