Russian and Chinese scientists have begun developing advanced solutions that will radically reduce carbon emissions. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with teachers and students of Harbin Polytechnic University.

The head of state stressed that scientists from the two countries are also doing a lot in the field of combating climate change, protecting biodiversity and protecting nature.

Putin also recalled that testing of carbon footprint reduction technology has begun, and activities are planned to certify wind and hydrogen electricity.

The President of Russia was on a working visit to China on May 16-17. The day before, Putin visited the stand of the Russian-Chinese University MSU-PPI at the Expo in Harbin, where he was shown the latest butterfly drones.
