A new stage of preparation for the launch of the Progress MS-27 cargo spacecraft has begun at Baikonur.

Today, the solar panels of the manned spacecraft were checked at the cosmodrome - the sections of photocells were deployed and irradiated with powerful lamps to control the efficiency of converting light energy into electrical energy. Specialists are also preparing cargo and equipment that will be sent to the International Space Station in May.

Earlier, "Progress MS-27" visited a space simulator, passed pneumatic vacuum tests and a number of other control tests.

In parallel, the cargo that will be delivered to the cosmonauts in orbit is also being prepared. This includes water, food, and technical cargo related to work on the ISS.
