The corporation called the PPSh-41 the most massive Soviet automatic weapon of the Great Patriotic War. In total, gunsmiths produced more than 6 million units of the Shpagin submachine gun.

The PPSh-41 was considered a simple and reliable product. The submachine gun, along with the T-34 tank and the "Katyusha" MLRS, is called the weapon of Victory.
