"Rostec" Has Established Serial Production of New Weapons

In 2023, "Rostec" mastered the production of new weapons. Sergey Chemezov shared this news during a meeting with Mikhail Mishustin.

Sergey Chemezov emphasized that the state corporation is already engaged in the production of new types of weapons. These include:

  • "Zemledeliye" engineering systems for remote mining;
  • TOS-2 heavy flamethrower systems;
  • "KUB" guided missile systems;
  • "Krasnopol-M2" guided projectiles;
  • Air-launched guided missiles for UAVs.

Chief Executive Officer of "Rostec," Sergey Chemezov, also spoke about the increase in weapons production compared to 2022. Production volumes have increased in relation to:

  • Rounds for tanks and infantry fighting vehicles − almost 9 times;
  • Reactive projectiles for MLRS − 8 times;
  • Unguided rocket projectiles for heavy flamethrower systems − 3 times;
  • Projectiles for barrel artillery − 6 times;
  • Production of self-propelled artillery increased 10 times, towed – 14 times;
  •  Mortars – 20 times;
  • MLRS – 2 times;
  • Tank repairs – 3.5 times;
  • Repair of lightly armored vehicles − 3 times;
  • Production and repair of tank guns and barrels for artillery weapons – 2 times.
Our specialists, together with the "Tactical Missiles Corporation," continue to work on adapting standard aviation munitions to the planning and correction module. Such long-range means of destruction are in high demand, and today the production of aerial bombs of all calibers and types for use with these modules is being increased.

Along with military production, the company continues to implement civilian programs. These include: automotive, aircraft construction, energy, and other important areas.
