"Rosmorport" has planned to transfer pilotage to Russian software. This became known last week during the demo day "ICC in transport: from import substitution to high-tech export".
Currently, "Rosmorport" operates more than 53 seaports, and over 500 pilots carry out their activities. Therefore, the importance of switching to domestic software has been brewing for a long time.
The development of the new digital system is being carried out by "Intellectica Consulting". The project is supposed to be tested in pilot seaports: Astrakhan and Olya in the Astrakhan region and the Big Port of St. Petersburg. 130 pilots will test the new software there.
There is another project aimed at replacing foreign software with Russian analogues. The Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) was developed by JSC "Sitronics". It has already been successfully tested and is being used in the port of Sochi.
Russian VTMS software has been successfully operating in Sochi for four months and has proven itself well. Foreign software is completely disabled.
"Rosmorport" plans to transfer all its subordinate systems to work in integration with Russian software. They plan to do this by the end of the year.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian industrial enterprises will be compensated for part of the costs of implementing domestic software.
