You've got mail: Electronic summons system to launch in Russia on November 1

Such summons are automatically considered served one week after they appear in the personal account

The Russian government has published a decree on the operation of the Unified Register of Military Records. The document is dated April 19, 2024, and is posted on the official legal information portal.

The finalization of the register is scheduled to be completed by October 31. Summons will begin to be served electronically. The distribution will begin on November 1 of this year through the "Gosuslugi" portal.

The summons will be automatically considered "served" after 7 days from the date it was sent to the account. If a person liable for military service does not appear at the military registration and enlistment office within 20 days after "service", a number of restrictions will be imposed on such evaders. These include bans on: traveling abroad, registering as self-employed, opening an individual entrepreneurship, and obtaining a foreign passport.

The document also indicated the information that will be contained in the register. Among the data about the person liable for military service will be indicated: full name, gender, date and place of birth, passport data, TIN and SNILS, address of residence, marital status, information about the employer, driver's license data, information about the availability of real estate and vehicles, information about the state of health.

It was previously noted that the "Gosuslugi" portal was planning to collect data on SIM cards of Russians.
