The traffic police of Tatarstan received two LADA Vesta Sport cars. The "charged" sedans were spotted on the roads of Kazan. This is the first time that traffic police officers in Russia are using AvtoVAZ flagships in the Sport version to patrol the streets.
According to information from open sources, two Lada Vesta Sport cars with the color scheme of the traffic police and with numbers of the 16th region were registered in October 2023. The sedans were produced in 2020 and 2021.
The difference between the "charged" version and the regular LADA Vesta is in the VAZ-21179 naturally aspirated engine, boosted to 145 hp, retuned suspension and reinforced brakes. The car also received an original body kit.
Assembly of the Vesta Sport was discontinued in 2022. AvtoVAZ plans to revive the production of the "charged" sedan based on the Vesta NG.
