АвтоВАЗ планирует внедрить беспилотные технологии в свои новые автомобили

В планах оснастить ими модели С и D классов

Unmanned control systems may appear in LADA cars. This was announced by the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, on the sidelines of the RSPP congress. According to him, these technologies will be introduced into models of classes C and D, which are being developed by AvtoVAZ employees.

These plans correlate with our plans to create cars of higher classes: C, D, maybe even higher. Where elements of the ADAS system are used and have economic payback, efficiency.
Maxim Sokolov, head of AvtoVAZ

He added that the development of unmanned systems is underway both in cooperation with NAMI and with other companies, and the creation of new AvtoVAZ models fits into the adopted strategy until 2030.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that an unmanned LADA Vesta went to Russian expensive roads. It is being tested at NAMI. The autonomous vehicle control system works stably in the traffic flow.
