The Kalashnikov concern has announced the appearance of a new multifunctional modular load-bearing system "Voevoda-KSS" for the Russian military.
Experienced samples of the new load-bearing equipment have already passed preliminary tests from specialists of TSNIITOCHMASH. During the development, high rates of thermoregulation, ergonomics and a high degree of reliability were initially incorporated into the kit. It should equally cope with loads in active combat operations, during fire contact at close range, when moving over long distances and in extreme weather conditions.
The inspection showed that the samples fully meet all the goals and objectives, have excellent characteristics, meet high quality standards and safety requirements. Currently, a metrological examination of the technical and design solutions of the system is being carried out for compliance with GOST RV 0008-003-2019.
After that, "Voevoda-KSS" will undergo a full cycle of tests. Only then will it become part of the equipment of military personnel to perform combat tasks "taking into account the optimal ratio of armor protection, macroergonomics and transportability of the kit".
