SRI "Vector" of the "Ruselectronics" holding (part of the "Rostec" state corporation) announced a noticeable increase in orders for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) countermeasures since the beginning of 2024. The "Serp" line of suppression devices is of particular interest.
According to representatives of SRI "Vector", since the beginning of this year, the number of orders and the demand for anti-drone devices themselves have increased significantly. The company has increased the supply of UAV countermeasures to the civilian market.
In addition, the institute notes a change in the approach from customers. Now they prefer comprehensive drone protection systems, which requires deeper research and development. SRI "Vector" also notes the tendency of neighboring enterprises to unite into a single cluster to protect facilities from UAVs.
SRI "Vector" is one of the leading enterprises in Russia for the development and production of UAV detection and countermeasures. Since its foundation in 1908, the organization has been actively developing, offering new technological solutions in the field of radio engineering and radio electronics.
