«Аэромакс» и «Принтпарт» запустят серийную сборку поршневых двигателей для беспилотников

A pilot batch of 100 engines has already been produced

Moscow-based companies «Aeromax» and «Printpart» will launch large-scale production of piston engines for civilian drones at the «Rudnevo» industrial park, according to Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Affairs.

The first to be launched into production will be lightweight, powerful engines, which have no analogues in Russia

The manufacturers have already released a pilot batch of 100 units. It is planned that they will reach a volume of 5 thousand units per year. This number of piston engines will be sufficient to meet the demand within the framework of the BAS development program.

Russian power units will replace foreign analogues for drones with a take-off weight of 15 to 50 kg, as well as for ground robotic complexes.

These engines can lift aircraft-type drones and drones with vertical take-off and landing into the air. The units have been successfully tested on «DIAM-20» and «DIAM-20K» drones.

Earlier, Siberian scientists developed an engine that can operate at a temperature of -65 °C. It can be installed on drones.
