The Ministry of Finance has received a batch of LADA Aura — a domestic business-class sedan designed primarily for officials. The head of the department, Anton Siluanov, compared the new product from AvtoVAZ, which will go on sale in September 2024, with German and American foreign cars.
A new batch of LADA Aura has arrived at the Ministry of Finance today, not to be confused with Aurus. By the way, an excellent car, no worse than a Ford or even a BMW "five", and those who drive it recommend it.
He emphasized that the sedan is designed primarily for passenger comfort, not the driver.
In the first quarter of this year, the Ministry of Finance expected to receive five domestic business-class cars for its employees. It is unknown how many cars eventually reached the department.
Recall that last year Siluanov got acquainted with LADA Aura at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum and even drove a little. After the test drive, he stated that he was ready to drive a domestic sedan instead of foreign cars, and called on officials to abandon personal drivers and drive Russian cars themselves.
