Минцифры за 93 млн придумает, как защитить от сбоев системы связи и GPS при работе антидроновых глушилок

Reducing interference from anti-drone systems should improve GPS performance and solve the problem of ordering a taxi in the capital

The Ministry of Digital Development wants to reduce the impact of radio-electronic suppression (RES) systems of unmanned aerial vehicles on the electronic devices of Russians. The first step towards this was a contract for 92.9 million rubles, which the department published on the public procurement website on February 14. The contractor will prepare proposals to reduce the radio frequency impact on the operation of GPS and the mobile network. If a solution is found, then at least the problem with calling a taxi via a geolocation application will disappear in the center of Moscow.

The work will be carried out by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Order of the Red Banner of Labor Russian Research Institute of Radio named after M. I. Krivosheev." The organization belonging to the Ministry of Digital Development will analyze how radio interference affects various gadgets, including mobile phones and radio stations. According to the project, proposals to reduce radio-electronic impact need to be prepared by December 12, 2024.

It should be noted that drone suppression systems began to be actively used in the Russian capital last year. They negatively affect the operation of navigation programs. Because of this, problems arise for taxi drivers, couriers, as well as those who have not yet figured out the variety of city streets.

Earlier, www1.ru wrote that Perm scientists determined how much car jammers affect the work of surveyors. Problems arise when specialists conduct surveys near highways.
