The Slet (gathering) of developers and manufacturers of UAV detection and suppression systems, organized by the Ushkuynik Scientific and Production Center, took place in Veliky Novgorod. It was attended by 14 drone development companies.
The St. Petersburg-based Oko Design Bureau presented the "Privet-82" aircraft-type kamikaze drone. The drone is equipped with an electric motor and can carry 5.5 kg of payload. The flight range is 30 km. The "Privet-82" takes off using a catapult and moves at speeds up to 140 km/h.
Guidance methods for the "Privet-82" drone:
- Manually, via video signal
- By GPS coordinates with autonomous flight
- Flight by GPS coordinates to a specified area in radio silence mode, with further manual targeting by the operator via video signal
The drone tests took place at a training ground in the Novgorod region. In addition to the "Privet-82" drone, a demonstration of the "Osoyed" enemy UAV hunting system took place. A flying target is hit by a net-trap, which is ejected by a hunter drone at speed. After that, the enemy drone loses control and falls.
