Users of the BelkaCar carsharing service will be able to refuel rented cars using a QR code at Gazpromneft gas stations. You won't have to spend your own money on refueling the car, as the mobile application integrates the Opti24 fuel card with a positive balance. The system itself will suggest how much fuel you need to fill up.
The introduction of the QR code payment system makes refueling more comfortable for both our clients and employees
Refueling via QR code is already available to clients of the OPTI 24 ecosystem, which is designed for commercial transport. OPTI24 users can spend virtual points from the card not only on fuel, but also on services at gas stations.
According to Dmitry Shepelsky, Director of Regional Sales at Gazprom Neft, the service became available to BelkaCar users thanks to the introduction of the OPTI 24 API software interface. This allowed the two companies to "quickly and seamlessly synchronize accounting systems" and "made refueling at Gazpromneft gas stations even more technological and convenient for thousands of motorists."
As a reminder, BelkaCar appeared on the carsharing market in Russia in 2016. A total of five thousand cars are available to service users. The company's services are used by 2 million people.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that BelkaCar started operating in Kaliningrad.
