The Kalashnikov AK-201 assault rifle is reliable and shoots in all conditions, said Georgy Gubich, a specialist at the Kalashnikov concern. He demonstrated the use of weapons after dusting, being in a box with sand and dirt.

Sand test
Gubich put the AK-201 in a metal box with sand. He added more sand, completely covering the machine gun with it. Then the gunsmith took the weapon in his hands and fired a series of shots from it, and then single shots.
Thus, he showed that the AK-201 can be safely used in desert conditions. The machine gun passed the sand test.
Dust test
At our test station there is a chamber that simulates dusting
The specialist left the AK-201 in the chamber for 15 minutes, where the equipment injected dust. After Gubich took the dusty machine gun in his hands and returned to the shooting room, where he fired the entire magazine. The dust test was also passed.
Mud test
For our third test, we have prepared a tank with liquid mud
Despite the interaction with water and dirt, the AK-201 passed the test. The machine gun gave out an uninterrupted burst, as well as single shots without delays.
Endurance test
Georgy Gubich took 12 magazines and showed what would happen to the machine gun if you fired that many cartridges at a fast pace.
At the end of the test, the AK-201 smoked. After allowing the machine gun to cool down a little, the gunsmith reinserted the magazine and started shooting. The operation of weapons in extreme conditions, including at high temperatures, did not affect its accuracy in any way.
As you can see, after such loads, the AK-201 not only shoots, but also accurately hits the target. The endurance test has been passed
