Depositors of the revoked QIWI Bank have started receiving compensation through Uralsib

DIA: From February 29, QIWI Bank depositors are being compensated through an agent bank

The Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) has warned depositors of QIWI Bank, which had its license revoked, that insurance payments have begun. The organization has selected Uralsib as the agent bank for this purpose.

The DIA press service explained that depositors can receive their money before the liquidation of QIWI Bank is completed. The total amount of payments under insurance liability is 4.3 billion rubles. Funds will be reimbursed to almost 300 individuals, 11,000 individual entrepreneurs, and 9,000 companies.

In the last two days, 880.3 million rubles have been transferred to QIWI Bank depositors. This is 20% of the declared volume of payments.

After the Central Bank revoked the license of QIWI Bank, a preliminary investigation was launched by the FSB. It is being conducted by employees of Department "K", which deals with economic security issues.
