The second Forum of Future Technologies, organized by the Roscongress Foundation as part of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia, has ended in Moscow.
For two days, the country's leading scientific organizations presented their innovative developments in the field of medicine - and a number of them are already operating in Russian medical centers.
The exhibition area of the Forum of Future Technologies-2024 brought together achievements in six cross-cutting areas of healthcare: genetic technologies, neurotechnologies, regenerative medicine, nuclear medicine, digital technologies plus AI, and biosafety.
Rospotrebnadzor demonstrated its capabilities in modern laboratory diagnostics, the VGARus and SOLA platforms, CRISPR/Cas technology, and others. In addition, forum guests saw models of mobile laboratories that can quickly and efficiently operate in the event of public health threats. Rosatom presented for the first time the new generation Torus linear accelerator for the treatment of oncological diseases, as well as Sanginox - a device that synthesizes and supplies nitric oxide into the blood circuit from the air without restrictions when used for artificial blood circulation devices.
The stands also featured models of unique radiopharmaceuticals and medical devices. For example, Rosatom is the only company in Russia that produces ruthenium-106-based ophthalmic applicators, and the only company in the world that produces strontium-90-based ophthalmic applicators. Models of the compact rhenium-188 generator GREN-1, as well as personalized and serial medical products made of composites, were also demonstrated.
Sber presented 7 innovations in healthcare: a Stroke Suspect Patient Hospitalization Management Center using AI, the AIDA digital doctor assistant, the GigaChat medical assistant, and a number of others.
Resident of the Skolkovo Foundation (VEB.RF Group) "CardioQUARK" showed a chair with a built-in electrocardiograph for self-registration of ECG - this can be seen in clinics in Moscow, the Moscow and Bryansk regions, the Khabarovsk Territory, and in the MFC.

It allows, with the help of omics technologies, to assess the state of mental health and helps doctors diagnose the disease even before symptoms appear.
At the stands, you could learn about the methods of sensitizing prostheses and relieving phantom pain after limb removal, a blockchain-based marking system that allows individual accounting of medicines until the patient takes the drug, and other innovative solutions.
