Yandex has updated the Yandex Browser familiar to users and included neural networks in it. Now you can work with videos, texts, images, QR codes and not be afraid of phishing resources and suspicious sites. If a site is dangerous, the Browser will warn you about the risks after checking and advise you not to go to the web resource.
The neural network functions of the Yandex Browser are activated using compact menus: they automatically appear next to the content where they can be applied. If the function affects the entire page, the menu will appear next to the address bar.
For example, to write competent comments, letters, reviews and other messages on websites, in mail, in social networks and applications, you just need to select a piece of text and select the "Help with text" function, choosing the process.
The neurobrowser will execute the command "Fix errors", "Shorten" or "Improve style".
If you need to work with video, it will help translate videos from Japanese, Korean, English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian and German into Russian. If necessary, it will overlay voice acting and subtitles in Russian on them.
The neurobrowser will be able to:
briefly retell foreign language videos using YandexGPT in Russian;
conduct a video broadcast with subtitles in Russian, separating the remarks of different speakers;
scan QR codes during video playback.
As for images, YandexART will help generate them through the virtual voice assistant Alice - you need to describe in text or voice what you want to see in the picture, in the "Let's draw" mode.
The performance of the Yandex Browser has also been improved. So, now you can quickly transfer settings and bookmarks from any other browser to the Yandex Browser - in just one click after installation. Cloud tabs and tab groups have become available. The user can work on different devices on the same tab if he is authorized on both devices under his Yandex ID.
At the same time, the Yandex Browser has become much faster to load on older computers. The company notes that the startup speed in systems installed on the slowest hard drives (HDD) has increased from 45 to 20 seconds.
