The Russian holding company Fplus has launched the production of electronics, including laptops, servers, printers, and smartphones, in the village of Valishchevo, Domodedovo urban district. The 25,000 sq. m. facility is expected to produce approximately half a million devices annually.
Investments in the creation of the production line exceeded 1 billion rubles. According to Fplus, the plant will assemble circuit boards, assemble devices, install software, test them, and complete orders. The company plans to organize plastic molding and metal stamping.
Taking into account other sites, Fplus will be able to produce more than 3 million products annually
The company also produces a line of MFPs. The expected volume of production this year is up to 50,000 devices with a printing speed of 30-40 pages per minute and 15,000 devices with a printing speed of 40-50 pages per minute. In 2024, Fplus plans to start producing color printers.
It was previously reported that the Russian electronics manufacturer Aquarius plans to release a line of devices with the pre-installed domestic OS "Aurora."
