New NAMI Hydrogen and electromechanical transmission - what they are working on at the Russian NAMI

Promising developments are then transferred to domestic automakers

A new electromechanical transmission for hybrid cars and electric vehicles has been created at the Russian NAMI.

In addition to it, NAMI is also working on other components for new competitive Russian cars

The electromechanical transmission was demonstrated to Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov during a visit to the institute.

The characteristics of the development are not specified, but, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, it is not inferior to foreign analogues. Localized auto components developed with the participation of the NAMI Auto Components Center and other automotive developments for the Russian automotive industry were also presented.

Finally, Manturov was shown NAMI Hydrogen - this is the name of a promising hydrogen-powered car. NAMI Hydrogen has a low carbon footprint and meets modern environmental requirements. No other data about it is reported.
