Omsk Transport Machine-Building Plant, which produces the famous Russian TOS-1A Solntsepek and TOS-2 Tosochka flamethrower systems, has applied for registration of the TOS-3 Dragon trademark. It was not previously known that TOS-3 was being developed.
The description in the application includes a schematic representation of the trademark, from which it can be concluded that the new equipment will have a smaller ammunition load. Instead of eighteen shells for the previous Tosochka, the Dragon can be seen with fifteen. It inherited the replaceable package with guides from Tosochka, and the protected, reliable tank chassis from Solntsepek. The rest remains to be guessed at.
However, it is already clear that various weapons and equipment can be produced under the TOS-3 Dragon trademark. The application lists military transport and military drones, armored vehicles, artillery guns [cannons], cannons, shells [weapons], ammunition and self-propelled guns in the list of ICGS classes and goods and/or services.
The Omsk company will also receive the rights to produce a range of products and carry out various activities under this trademark. This includes more than two hundred items - from souvenirs of all kinds and advertising materials to publishing books, launching escape rooms, training with simulators and organizing exhibitions with cultural and educational purposes.
