Yandex has moved to a new stage of testing quick answers from the YandexGPT language model, making them available to all users. To create a quick answer, the neural network analyzes the data and provides the most relevant information with a link to the source.
Quick answers from YandexGPT were launched in September 2023. More than 200,000 users took part in the beta testing. At the same time, 70% of the neural network's responses from 135,000 requests received a positive assessment. Most often, users noted the usefulness of the information found by YandexGPT.
The Yandex press service emphasized that quick answers also contribute to the promotion of sites that publish high-quality content. According to the survey results, 43% of respondents noted an increase in traffic to the site due to quick answers, and 50% reported an increase in brand awareness. In addition, the click-through rate (CTR) of the link with the source of the answer is equal to the click-through rate of sites that made it to the top 5 of the search results, the company summarized.
Earlier, Yandex's "Shedevrum", which creates videos using a neural network, was among the top three mobile AI applications in 2023.
