The Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering of the "High-Precision Systems" concern presented the "Product 305" multi-purpose guided missile at the World Defense Show 2024 international arms exhibition in Saudi Arabia. According to the developers, the missile fully satisfies customers with its characteristics: range, accuracy and reliability.

The missile is easy to operate. All that is required is to direct the missile at the desired target in the final section of the trajectory. The accuracy is good

The press service of "High-Precision Systems" explained that they are working on modernizing the "Product 305". The current power of the high-explosive fragmentation warhead of the missile (25 kg) makes it possible to hit single and group targets at any time of the day:

  1. Armored vehicles
  2. Firing points
  3. Buildings
  4. Air defense systems
  5. Artillery systems

"Product 305" is called the "combat serpent", the most mysterious Russian missile used by combat helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The missile's range is 14.5 km, which allows the pilot to strike and remain at a safe distance from enemy return fire, since there are no air defense systems that could provide operation at these distances.

"Product 305" missiles have demonstrated good accuracy in combat operations. This was confirmed by Russian military personnel and in the "High-Precision Systems" holding. It is used by pilots of Ka-52 and Mi-28N attack helicopters, combat versions of the Mi-8, as well as the Su-25SM3 attack aircraft.

The missile has a transparent head fairing to protect optical systems. The head compartment of "Product 305" is equipped with a guidance system with inertial and satellite navigation devices, an optoelectronic homing head, and an autopilot.

The development of "High-Precision Systems" received a radio station for data exchange with a helicopter or attack aircraft. Telemetry and video signal are sent to the aircraft, and flight correction commands are sent to the missile.
