Specialists from the youth project center of MSTU "Stankin" have developed a drone for monitoring and transporting goods. The drone is equipped with a fully Russian controller, the NTI press service reported.
We plan to increase the payload mass and flight range of the drone by 20% compared to analogues
He explained that this can be achieved by reducing the inductive resistance of the wings.
Technical characteristics of the drone from MSTU:
- Material - composite
- Maximum distance - up to 250 km
- Flight time - up to 4 hours
- Cruising speed - up to 60 km/h
Scientists are currently working on a prototype of the drone. And the controller for it will appear on the market in the third quarter of this year. It is expected that the drone will be in demand for the delivery of goods in Siberia and the North.
Earlier it was reported that the domestic Kalashnikov concern will show the SKAT 350 M drone for reconnaissance at an exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
