Uraltransmash is sending its first high-speed narrow-gauge tram model 71-411 to Pyatigorsk. It was created for operation in cities with rather narrow streets: the track width for this tram model is only 1000 mm.
The carriage can carry up to 179 people, and is equipped with everything necessary for passengers - air conditioning, ventilation and lighting systems. It is convenient for people with disabilities or partial mobility.
There is a separate place for a wheelchair user with a back support, seat belt, sound and visual information systems. The low-floor part of the carriage is also designed for a mother with a stroller to go on a trip. The seats of the carriage are special - modernized, anti-vandal.
The tram is designed even for movement on uneven rail tracks, the design solution of Uraltransmash eliminates vibration. The carriage can accelerate up to 75 km/h.
