A crew for the Project 20385 corvette "Provorny", which is being built by St. Petersburg shipbuilders at the Severnaya Verf enterprise, has been recruited in Kamchatka, the USC press service reported.
The sailors will be sent to St. Petersburg for training at the Joint Training Center of the Russian Navy. There they will begin to study the structure of the corvette and learn the basics of its operation.
It is specified that after training, the crew must pass a test in order to be allowed to operate it. When "Provorny" is ready, the sailors will accept the ship from the manufacturer and conduct sea trials.
Earlier, USC reported that they plan to significantly increase the production of civilian vessels. This year, it is expected to transfer 36 ships to customers.
