The Russian Ministry of Defense has received a patent for a non-lethal anti-personnel mine with an increased area of effect. This became possible due to the dispersal of pyrotechnic elements at an angle to the horizon, according to patent materials.
It is noted that the invention can be used in new anti-personnel mines that are installed manually. They can incorporate the principle of non-lethal damage through the use of substances that irritate the skin and mucous membranes of humans.
As a result, a person will temporarily lose the ability to active actions and aggression. The mine is equipped with contact and non-contact fuses, which expands its scope of application.
Earlier, the Russian Armed Forces received an engineering complex "Agriculture", with which you can create huge minefields. Once in the ground, the mines do not explode, but are put into combat position, they can be activated remotely.
