Engineers of CS "Zvezdochka" manufactured the first batch of propellers

The screws for the ships were made of stainless steel

Employees of the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center (part of USC) manufactured and presented to the Russian Classification Society the first batch of propellers for ships of the REGK.126 project, the USC press service reported.

The main feature of the new propellers is their geometry. It was developed by designers of the Center for Propulsion Systems through "dry" design. The screws are made of stainless steel with a diameter of 1.5 m.

Ship of the REGK.126 project

The first ship of the REGK.126 project was laid down in late June 2022 in Arkhangelsk. In total, four such vessels will be built here. Three of them will run between the Arkhangelsk islands, and one is intended to serve the left bank of the Onega.

Earlier, USC announced the start of sea trials of the excursion ship "Iniya".
