Employees of the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center (part of USC) manufactured and presented to the Russian Classification Society the first batch of propellers for ships of the REGK.126 project, the USC press service reported.
The main feature of the new propellers is their geometry. It was developed by designers of the Center for Propulsion Systems through "dry" design. The screws are made of stainless steel with a diameter of 1.5 m.
The first ship of the REGK.126 project was laid down at the end of June 2022 in Arkhangelsk. In total, four such vessels will be built here. Three of them will ply between the Arkhangelsk islands, and one is intended for servicing the left bank of the Onega.
Earlier, USC announced the start of sea trials of the excursion ship "Iniya".
