Vologda all-terrain vehicle manufacturers have slightly refined their Triumph cyber all-terrain vehicle model. An overview of the new version of the all-terrain vehicle, presented in the summer of 2023, was presented on the YouTube channel "PROFESSOR TEAM".
Cross-country ability through snow, swampy terrain, off-road conditions, and water is provided by Vologda FORESTER-1650 all-terrain tires with elongated curved sipes. In case the all-terrain vehicle gets stuck, the factory design includes a winch, from which only the hook is visible from the outside.
The "Triumph" can drive both day and night - the "Aurora" headlights provide high and low beams, and there is also an "Aurora" light bar above the cab. On its body, on the outside left, right, and rear, there are lights for the all-terrain vehicle's work light.
Like the developments of the founder of board-turning all-terrain vehicles in Russia, Alexey Garagashyan, for example, the "Sherp", the "Triumph" has two entrances. Getting into the cab or the conditional trunk is difficult: you have to climb more than a meter from the ground without any folding steps, pulling yourself up with your hands.
Inside it is warm: two stoves with air ducts are working. Air is taken from the engine compartment, heated and warms passengers.
If you climb in from the cab side, you can immediately find the driver's seat and the navigator's seat. They are taken from the VAZ-2109 "Sputnik", "nine", and can be folded.
There is also tire inflation with a pressure gauge on the control panel.
The rapid tire inflation system is due to exhaust gases, it is controlled from the cab by a separate valve.
The all-terrain vehicle develops a speed of up to forty kilometers per hour, the tester notes that a comfortable speed would be thirty kilometers per hour.
The gearbox of this all-terrain vehicle is a six-speed manual, from a Renault Master minibus. It has only two pedals - gas and clutch. If you need to drive for a long time, and the driver's leg gets tired of pressing the gas pedal, then the all-terrain vehicle has a kind of cruise control: the option of controlling the manual gas through a special cable.
By folding back the driver's and navigator's seats, you can get into the cabin of the all-terrain vehicle, into its passenger and cargo area. There are benches where six people can sit. These benches can serve as single sleeping bunks for two. The third sleeping place is unfolded from a special structure behind one of the benches.
By lifting the cover and the technical hatch between the benches on the floor of the all-terrain vehicle, you can see the "stuffing" of the "Triumph". The engine is a Chinese Raywin diesel with a volume of 2.4 liters and a power of 65 hp. The all-terrain vehicle's tank is designed for 150 liters of fuel.
The difference from other board-turning all-terrain vehicles of the "Triumph" is that inside there is a gearbox plus two main gears from the GAZ-71 tracked heavy-duty all-terrain vehicle. The first is on the front axle, the second is on the rear, and they are connected to the gearbox by cardan shafts. The brakes are similar to the VAZ 2110.
The all-terrain vehicle also has two twelve-volt batteries. They are not connected to each other - you can use one or both at the same time for different needs on the trip.
All-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles in Russia are experiencing a boom with the development of the North - new models are being actively developed and old ones are being modernized. On one of the snowmobiles, the "Predator" produced by the Tyumen company "MEG WEST", the day before Russian President Vladimir Putin personally rode across Chukotka.
The trip was along a winter road - that is, along a seasonal route made of snow and ice. According to Vladimir Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, the official opening of this route was supposed to be in February - the ice is not yet thick enough for it to be driven freely. That is, there was a risk for the head of state.
[...]Of course, everything was checked ten times by special services, who come here in the advanced group for a reason. But, nevertheless, he [Vladimir Putin] was driving not yet on the officially opened winter road.
For winter roads and winter seasonal crossings, similar to those that the president drove on, a new composition for creating a special coating was recently developed at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Ice with a super-coating will become stronger and will melt under the sun for a longer time. The first experimental sections of seasonal roads with modified ice cover will be opened in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in February.
