В России разработали специальную программу для блокировки контента в Сети

The bill that will allow its use was drawn up by the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Digital Development and Roskomnadzor

Russia will have its own specialized information system that will block illegal content on the Web.

The system will combat a wide range of violations of the law: from fake news spreaders to sellers of fake documents and online financial pyramids<br>

According to IA "TASS", a bill that allows and describes the operation and application of such a system has already been developed by the Prosecutor General's Office in conjunction with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and Roskomnadzor.

Currently, the Prosecutor General's Office, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and Roskomnadzor, is working hard to improve the mechanism for countering the spread of illegal content on the Internet. Joint efforts have developed a bill that regulates the prompt decision to block malicious sites using a specialized information system.
Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation

According to the agency, in 2023 (from January 1 to December 25), the Prosecutor General's Office sent more than two thousand requests to Roskomnadzor for an out-of-court restriction of access to information on the Internet. In 2022, there were 1,699 such requests per year.

In general, over the past year, Roskomnadzor added about 529 thousand materials and resources to the register of prohibited information. They were either blocked or deleted. Most often, they contained fake information, including fakes about the SMO, as well as propaganda of drugs, extremist ideas or gambling. Compared to 2022, the number of sites included in the register of prohibited information decreased by 10%.

Tracking illegal content in Russia as part of the implementation of the law on sovereign Runet is assisted by the automated Internet security system (ASBI) with the support of technical means of countering threats. ASBI covers almost 100% of the traffic of telecom operators, and processes information at a speed of more than 100 Tbit/sec.

In addition, social networks and hostings themselves are actively involved in tracking and blocking illegal content on their platforms.
