During the New Year holidays, AvtoVAZ plans to improve technological processes, including modernizing the Granta painting shop, according to an informed source.
Workers will install new painting robots received from a partner from a friendly Eastern state. In addition, the painting chamber module will be replaced with a larger one in the workshop.
Thanks to this, Lada specialists will be able to use paints and varnishes from China. The introduction of new equipment will expand the color palette for car painting. New enamels will also be used for Lada Iskra.
Earlier, photos of Lada Iskra tests on the roads appeared on the Web. Mass production of the sedan will begin by the end of 2024.
